2007…The year to go….
Heylooo…I know my blog hasnt been updated for a period long enough to declare any blog dead. Actually I did have quiet a few things which I felt strongly about , but I dropped the plan thinking I should wait till I have some more things to write. However now I guess I wasnt too right, since I comfortably forgot what I actually intended to write. Now that I have bored you enough and have removed even the slightest possibility of you revisiting my website 
, lemme announce loud and clear that “I am alive , I am alive!!”….:) And for the ones who kept indicating that they missed my writing , I would just like to say two things : 1) A BIG THANK YOU (2) I am back with a bang! . This is especially to Renita , Vaishnavi, Mangala and few others , who know of the existence of my blog , and keep enquiring of it now and then…:)
These days I have been thinking too much about life in general . This has become one of my favourite pass time activities now..:) . Yes, this does have to do with my being a hard core capricornion.So I guess day dreaming is pretty much expected outta me. I am actually one of those people who keep cherising the past ,keep dreaming of a good future , and comfortably keep forgetting the present..:)(I love to think of the days when I and hubby would meet regularly before marriage , those days when we used to really enjoy chatting for looong hours on the phone , even during office hours…etc , etc…Now we are sooo hard pressed for time) .
This post of mine is to share with you some of the nice things that happened to us in the year 2007….Since the year is coming close to an end now , I felt this is the right time to post this. So here goes the list :
1) January : We buy an LCD T.V. and a gaming console that was declared as one of “the best things to have” in the year , in “Digit” magazine. Now that makes me feel nice , because for sometime it helps me overcome the guilt of having spent a fortune on a gaming console. Yes, it cost me a full twenty seven thousand , that too after a discount!.But considering the amount of time Kannan and I spend over it I can surely say that I have recovered double its cost already
2)February : Got some furniture to beautify my house…Pic below: (Thatz my mom in front of the entertainment unit)
3)March:Celebrated the 25th anniverasary of my parents in hyderabad in exactly the way I wanted to. I profusely thank GOD for having made this possible.
4) April : Gifted Kannan something that he genuinely wanted . An H.P. Ipaq!! The smile on his face was soooooo cute that I can pay a million dollars to see him smile so sweet again…:-) ..Ofcourse he does that very often!..:)
5) May : Hmmm…May was actually hectic with me hunting for jobs really hard. Nothing much apart from that.
6)June : I quit Misys to Join Oracle , and went on a 2 week long vacation with the whole family(means my parents , inlaws,grandma , aunty , uncle etc) to Pune , and from there to Shridi.
7)July : I join Oracle..
August : Was an ultra good month . This month , is when we became the owners of SX4! Oh yeah! The men are back! Also this month is special in a way because my mom and dad’s b’days fall in this month ..just that we cudnt go to Hyderabad .
9)September : An average month , but enjoyed life!…Went to wonderla with friends , for the nth time…The three snaps below were taken on three different days in three different parts of the year with three different sets of friends.:) But I just felt like uploading all the three snaps here..
10)October : Yay!!! The best month of the year!! My wedding anniversary falls in this month. Incidentally it is also in the same month that we became the owners of a lovely apartment by God’s grace , but ofcourse last year! This year we celebrated it..:) Bless the moment!
11)November : Another nice-to-remember month. We made a trip to a resort called ‘Georgia Sunshine’ with one of our couple freinds. This place is near Maddur..a nice one…If you ever get a chance or the time to go there , do so..here is the link.
12)December : Finally!! I am sure you were waiting for me to get to this month, no? Ok the month is not yet over..But I am definitely looking forward to celebrating my birthday with hubby and also looking forward to the new year eve..We have already started making plans..Letz see how well they materialise…One request… this is for those close friends of ours who understand(Kannan , may be you can help them understand..:-) ) : Plese dont buy me books and fengshui stuff this time for my budday ….I have enough of all those..but , pleeeease , pleeease buy me teddies..Hope that was desperate enough! If not , tell me …I can do better…All I want now are Teddies, Teddies and more Teddies… . And to Srikant (my brother), you better gimme a gift atleast this year..:) Now that I succesfully managed to convey to you what I want for my birthday, here is me signing off until my next post which most likely will be in next year..unless ofcourse something really interesting happens before that…So till then Merry Christmas! I would like to end this , with a small thanks giving prayer…
